Corona guidelines for exhibitors

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION AND PARTICIPATION

Access to the exhibition grounds is not permitted for people who show the typical symptoms of an infection with COVID. People who have been in contact with a person infected with COVID will also not be admitted, who are or have been in contact with a person infected with COVID and who have been in contact less than 14 days ago.

Only tested, vaccinated or recovered people are allowed to enter. Vaccinated or recovered people have to present their certificate at the time of entry.

DEFINITION 3G IN GERMANY

What exactly does the respective status mean and what do I have to be able to prove or what documents do I have to present?

Complete vaccination
(final vaccination must be at least 14 days ago and it must be a vaccine approved in the EU).

For admission, in addition to a valid identity card, appropriate proof must be presented:

  • Vaccination card

The proof must be provided on paper or in an electronic document, in each case in German or English.

Basically, the respective regulations of the three-level warning system are applied to access. Basic level: only tested, vaccinated or recovered people are allowed to enter. Level 2: Only vaccinated, recovered and tested people are allowed to enter, however pcr-tests are mandatory, Level 3: Only vaccinaterd and recovered people are allowed to enter. Please consider the warning system and the required tests.

Negative test result (antigen rapid test or pcr test)

  • not older than 24 hours
  • Pupils not older than 60 hours
  • Children up to and including 5 years of age who are asymptomatic are considered to have been tested.
     

You have the option to be tested at the following contact points, among others, in addition to the testing possibilities in your home town:

In addition to a valid ID card, the following proof must be presented for access:

  • Certification of a negative test result (antigen rapid test) by competent personnel.

The proof must be provided on paper or in an electronic document, in each case in German or English.

A person is considered to be recovered if he/she has been tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 by PCR or other nucleic acid detection within the last 6 months and the test result was obtained at least 28 days ago.

For admission, in addition to a valid identity card, appropriate proof must be presented:

  • for convalescents, a medical certificate or a positive PCR test (with date). 

The proof must be provided on paper or in an electronic document, in each case in German or English.

FULL REGISTRATION

All exhibitors and their entire staff must register in advance via the exhibitor registration shop, from whom you will also receive your relevant passes / tickets. This measure also ensures exhibitor traceability. The voucher for registration, can be found in the Online Service Center (OSC).

MOUTH-AND-NOSE COVER

Masks must be worn in the exhibition halls. Only FFP2 masks and medical surgical masks are allowed. Please bring your own masks. In closed rooms on the exhibition ground masks must be worn.

 

 

However, the following exceptions apply:

  • To children under six years of age
  • To persons for whom wearing a medical mask is not possible for medical reasons or cannot be reasonably required (doctor’s certificate required) In such cases a large coronavirus protection visor (chin visor not sufficient) must be worn
  • When using catering facilities or during eating and drinking
  • In the open air a mask is only to be worn if the minimum social distance of 1.5 metres from other people cannot be permanently maintained

The provisions that currently apply are set out in Point 1 of the Messe Friedrichshafen’s Protection and Hygiene Concept.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

As usual, our free Messe-Express (Line MX) will connect the train station at the harbour and in the centre with the exhibition grounds. Masks are compulsory for the journey.

MINIMUM SOCIAL DISTANCING

All exhibitors and visitors are requested to observe minimum social distancing of 1.5 meters.

HYGIENE

You will find an adequate number of disinfectant dispensers throughout the exhibition center, most notably at the entrances, hall intersections and the WC areas. There will be shorter disinfection and cleaning intervals with regard to frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs, handles, and surfaces in sanitary areas. You are furthermore requested to dispense with the customary greeting rituals, and to observe sneezing and coughing etiquette.

CORONA TESTING POSSIBILITIES ON SITE

Exhibitors have the opportunity to be tested on site with a rapid antigen test.

VENTILATION

Entrance areas, exhibition halls, conference rooms and dining areas will be sufficiently supplied with fresh air (outdoor air quality). In addition, the exhibition halls have a ceiling height up to 24 meters. This additionally ensures sufficient air circulation.

Please refer to the relevant information in Point 6 of the Messe Friedrichshafen’s Protection and Hygiene Concept.

RESTAURANTS & CATERING

Messe Friedrichshafen’s restaurant and catering partners have adapted their service concepts to the current situation and will be guided by the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg’s applicable Coronavirus Ordinance.

CURRENT SITUATION

The coronavirus situation remains highly dynamic. We would therefore ask you to inform yourself fully about the current rules as set out in the:

  • Full vaccination (final dose of vaccine must have been given at least 14 days previously, and it must be a vaccine licensed in the EU, or
  • A negative test result (not older than 24 hours), or
  • Former patients who have recovered (at least 28 days, maximum 6 months)

 

Along with a valid identity card, the following certificates must be submitted for entry:

  • Vaccination certificate or
  • Certificate showing a negative test result issued by qualified persons, or
  • For former patients who have recovered, a doctor’s certificate or positive PCR test (with date)

The certificate must be supplied either on paper or in an electronic document, either in English or German.

Persons who are in contact with a person infected with the Coronavirus, or have been in contact with a person infected with the coronavirus within the past 14 days, or who present the typical symptoms of a Coronavirus infection are not allowed to enter the exhibition grounds.

In enclosed rooms, all persons 6 years of age or older must wear a medical mask at all times.
Medical masks are not mandatory:

  • To persons for whom wearing a medical mask is not possible for medical reasons or cannot be reasonably required (doctor’s certificate required) In such cases a large coronavirus protection visor (chin visor not sufficient) must be worn
  • When using catering facilities or during eating and drinking
  • In the open air a mask is only to be worn if the minimum social distance of 1.5 metres from other people cannot be permanently maintained

Everyone must bring his or her own medical mask, as they will only be available for purchase in exceptional cases.

Exhibitor passes will be issued by means of voucher codes. When registering online, each member of your team must enter his or her voucher code to obtain an exhibitor pass, and will thereby be registered. The exhibitor passes, each of which is registered, will then be scanned on site for access/entry.

Everyone must be fully registered to enter the exhibition grounds during these phases, as well. Exhibitor passes are required during stand construction and dismantling. Special construction and dismantling passes can be ordered from the project team to register persons without an exhibitor pass (e.g. exhibition builders, etc.).

The concept for your stand must be adapted to the rules concerning social distancing and hygiene.

Yes. Guest tickets will be issued by means of a voucher code, which the visitor/customer can use to obtain a ticket in our online ticket shop.

The minimum 1.5-meter distance between persons must be ensured. In circumstances where maintaining this distance is impossible, suitable structural measures (e.g. a breath droplet shield) must be implemented. In planning your stand, please allow for 10 sq m (ca. 107 sq ft) per person.

In the event that AQUA-FISCH cannot take place, we will naturally refund any payments already made for the rental of your stand space. Any compensation claims for damages shall be rejected.

Our catering facilities on the exhibition grounds will be open. Messe Friedrichshafen's gastronomy and catering partner has adapted its food services concepts to the circumstances and is complying with the current COVID-19 ordinance (Corona-Verordnung).
